Charity and Community Work

As part of modelling I am also doing charity work around Atteridgeville. This was done during
entering the Miss Curvy Proud International. The selected safety home is Leamogetswe in Atteridgeville. This is a safety home for abandoned, poverty stricken children and it has about ±200 children aged between 2 -18 years of age.

As motivation in November 2018 I went to this safety home to eat lunch with the children. I cooked the meal for them that day.

In April 2019, donations of sanitary towels, toothpastes and tooth brushes were handed out
to the children.

June 2019

In June 2019 I went on and joined the face of Limpopo. On the 15 June 2019, was crowned Miss Face of Limpopo and Charity Ambassador.

March 2018

In 2018 I then came across the Ms Curvy Proud International competition which was held in Sandton and asked my manager, Edith Mayela and my spouse, Mr Kgaugelo Phasha that I would love to be part of this competition. I was given a go ahead and my entry (first one) got me to position number 5. The Miss Curvy Proud International was the first time it came to
South Africa.

Modelling Journey

It started at South African Health Product Regulatory when my Manager Ms Edith Mayela saw a potential in me. Yes during my schooling years I loved participating in drama, debates and any entertainment that was happening at that time. I had never envisaged that I would one day pursue a career in modelling because of my body size.

They say someone rock is the next person gold, and it is when my supervisor/manager
advised me to try and be active and do something about it. I took the lead and started
jogging in the mornings and afternoon.

January 2013

I was appointed at Prime Cure Sunning hill as Case manager in 2013, then after 3 months I got pharmacist assistant co-ordination post at Foundation for Professional Development in Witbank, October 2015.

I got new job as pharmacist assistant at Regional pharmacy then from February 2016 to date I am a Regulatory Pharmacist Assistant at South African Health Product Regulatory.
